Vincent Price

A shadowbox tribute to Vincent Price (May 27, 1911 - Oct 25, 1993) who voiced many movies and hosted the Hilarious House of Frightenstein. The illustration is a print of one of my original drawings.

Ofendas are an essential part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. The word ofrenda means offering in Spanish. They are also called altares or altars, but they are not for worshiping. Ofrendas are set up to remember and honor the memory of their ancestors. I have taken to making these ofrendas for iconic actors and famous people who inspire me.
